My Cloud Learning Path

As a web designer and AWS enthusiast, I understand the importance of having a strong IT foundation, especially when it comes to cloud computing. Whether you’re new to the field or looking to advance your career, there are plenty of resources available to help you succeed.

One course I highly recommend is The Bits and Bytes of Computer Networking, offered by Google. Even if you already have some IT knowledge, this course is a valuable addition to your CV and provides a comprehensive overview of network infrastructure and computer communication.

AWS offers a wide range of courses, labs, and tools to help you master different domains of cloud computing. One of my personal favorites is AWS Skill Builder, which offers digital courses and labs to help you practice your knowledge and get familiar with the AWS Management Console. This platform allows you to manage and access everything you need in the AWS Cloud, making it an essential tool for any AWS professional.

In addition to AWS Skill Builder, I suggest reading the AWS White Paper. This document provides detailed information on all services, the shared responsibility model, and an overview of the benefits of the AWS Cloud. Taking at least an hour each day to study is a great way to implement a more efficient learning strategy.

There are also many other companies that provide cloud courses, both paid and free, with real-life examples, professional instructors, interactive courses, and quizzes. Doing research and finding the right fit for you can help you gain valuable experience and knowledge.

Finally, I highly recommend practicing with labs and exam questions to solidify your understanding and build your confidence. Be sure to read the Cloud Practitioner (CLF-C01) Exam Guide, which provides an overview of the exam content, domains to be covered, and main services included in the exam. On exam day, take your time to carefully read each question, mark any questions you’re unsure of, and remember to breathe.
